Verdulaks are a type of vampire in V Wars. They possess a dormant gene similar to that of the predator gene in Bloods, which can be activated by contact with someone who was exposed to the prion. Like Bloods they possess heightened senses that are primed to their predatory nature, advanced regenerative capacities, and an overhauled digestive system that allows for the ingestion and digestion of blood. Verdulaks typically don't kill their victim. They possess a set of wickedly sharp retractable fangs that can easily pierce flesh and inject a highly addictive neurotoxin into their victims. This neurotoxin enthralls their victims, seemingly for the function of keeping a continuous blood supply around. If they drain a victim of their blood, the victim may transition into a Verdulak.
